On the 24th of February 2024, Mrs. Consolata Luvanda, the Spouse of Ambassador Baraka Luvanda, accompanied by the Embassy staff, actively participated in the vibrant and engaging Tanzania Awareness and Promotion Event held in Minato City, Tokyo. This remarkable event was organized by the NPO OHAO Project to foster internationl cultural exchange and deepening understanding to the Minato City children. 

The event was attended by about 60 Japanese children accompanied with their parents who have learned about and experienced Tanzanian culture. Among other activities of the day, participants had the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities for instance, preparing and indulging in famous traditional Tanzanian dishes such as ugali, pilau and kachumbari, adorning themselves in colorful and intricate traditional attire like kanga and Masai shuka, and virtually exploring Tanzania's breathtaking tourist attractions through the Tanzania – Royal Tour Film.

The event concluded successfully and created a profound and memorable cultural exchange, understanding about Tanzania attractions and leaving a lasting impact on all participants.
