Prof. Lughano Kusiluka, Vice Chancellor of the University of Dodoma (UDOM), and Prof. Abel Makubi, Executive Director of Benjamin Mkapa Hospital (BMH), concluded their working visit to Japan with a meeting with Mr. Ando Naoki, Senior Vice President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

During this meeting, they appreciated the support and collaboration rendered by JICA across various sectors in Tanzania, including health and education. They also discussed options for future collaboration, such as the current plan to develop an African medical hub in Dodoma, the prospect of re-introducing Japanese language classes at UDOM, and the enhancement of agricultural activities in Tanzania through research.

This meeting underscored the strong ties between Tanzania and Japan through JICA and emphasized the importance of continued partnership for the mutual benefit of both countries.
