Official Launch of the Tanzania Coffee with brand names “Kilimanjaro GDM Farm WASHED” and “Kilimanjaro GDM Farm NATURAL” at the Tullyʼs Coffee Japan Co. Ltd., on 7th June 2023

Single farm production with two type of processing method brings out different attractive “Kilimanjaro Coffee”: “Kilimanjaro GDM Farm WASHED” and “Kilimanjaro GDM Farm NATURAL”. Launching from June 7^th, 2023

Tullyʼs Coffee Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku, Tokyo; CEO: Mr. Yoshio Kobayashi) has launched limited-edition coffee of “Kilimanjaro GDM Farm WASHED” and “Kilimanjaro GDM Farm NATURAL” on Wednesday, June 7^th.

AFRICAN COFFEE - Second Edition

The Tully’s staff members came across the Kilimanjaro coffee we are using while visiting the Southern Region of Tanzania and was fascinated by the prominent taste.  We would like to share the two types of flavors of the high-quality Bourbon coffee produced from GDM Farm which each brought out their own characteristics due to the different processing method. Although being produced from a single farm, by changing the processing method, we have perfected a special coffee for customers to be drawn to two different charms. Please enjoy the comparison.

“Kilimanjaro GDM Farm WASHED” has a bright flowery flavor which is unique to washed processed method. It has a floral aroma and gives caramel, citrus and cassis complexity flavor with a bright and rich sweetness. It has a clean after taste and is recommended for refreshment.

“Kilimanjaro GDM Farm NATURAL” is produced using the coffee cherry pulp attached during the drying process and has a characteristic of rich flavor of fruitiness. You can notice the fragrance and flavor of mango, apricot and caramel. It has an elegant flavor with balance of richness and acidity, a pleasant long-lasting sweetness and it is perfect for relaxation. Recommended black at first and honey added to the liking.
