The Embassy regrets to inform with deep sorrow that His Excellency Mr. Ali Hassan Mwinyi (98), the former President of the United Republic of Tanzania from 1985 to 1995 has passed away on the 29th February 2024.
The United Republic of Tanzania is on seven days of official mourning from 29th February 2024 to 7th March 2024.
A Book of Condolences will be open at Tanzania Embassy, 4-21-9, Kamiyoga, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo during the following hours:-
