On 10th November 2025, The Embassy joined other Missions based in Japan to honor and pay respects at Commonwealth Remembrance Day Ceremony on behalf of Tanzania in Hodogaya, Yokohama, at the Commonwealth War Cemetery.

The ceremony is held annually to remember and honor the sacrifices made by Commonwealth Soldiers who fought and died during the World War II. It serves as a reminder of the importance of International cooperation in promoting peace and the detrimental effects of war on communities and individuals.

On the occasion, Mr. Hosea Chikolongo, Political and Cultural Attaché represented H. E. Ambassador Anderson Mutatembwa.
