His Excellency Ambassador Baraka Luvanda joined today; 3rd November 2023 colleagues’ members of the SADC Group of Ambassadors based in Tokyo to bid a fitting farewell to Ambassador of Mozambique to Japan- His Excellency Ambassador Jose Maria da SILVA VIEIRA da MORAIS.
Ambassador Morais has successfully completed his tour of duty in Japan and is being reassigned new portfolio at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Maputo.
The luncheon event took place at Barbacoa Roppongi (Roppongi Hills Tower and was filled with lots of gratification sentiments expressed by members of the Group towards Ambassador Morais for his exemplary leadership during his time in Tokyo. They also wished him all the best in his new assignment.
