On September 10, 2024, the Embassy had a meeting with Mr Noritaka Matsui, Executive Officer of TAISHIN Company Ltd., - that deals with trading in beans, nuts, and dried fruits in Japan and other Asian countries. The main focus of the meeting was on the introduction of new market of Tanzania dry pineapples in Japan, which is set to be launched nationwide at the end of September this year.
Mr. Matsui also expressed his company’s interest in expanding its base in marketing Tanzania sisal on which he was properly guided.
