On 23 July 2026, H.E. Anderson G. Mutatembwa, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to Japan, visited the JICA Okinawa Office and met with Director General Ms. Kaori Tanaka. Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Tanzania and JICA Okinawa in tourism, capacity building, and the sustainable management of fisheries resources, while exploring opportunities for expanded collaboration through training programmes.
