His Excellency Ambassador Baraka Luvanda delivered a lecture on 29 October 2024 on the crucial role of women and youth in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals through the lens of Tanzania at the Gunma Prefectural Women's University in Japan.
The lecture highlighted the significant contributions that women and youth can make towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through their unique perspectives and experiences.
Ambassador Luvanda stressed the need for gender equality and youth empowerment in order to fully achieve the SDGs and create a more sustainable and equitable world. The event served as an important reminder of the importance of inclusivity and diversity in all aspects of society.
