Today, His Excellency Ambassador Baraka Luvanda joined other ambassadors and diplomats from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Member States, in a productive meeting with Keidanren Japan Business Federation - one of the prominent business organizations in Japan. H.E. Ambassador Luvanda was accompanied by Ms. Edna Dioniz Chuku, First Secretary - Economic Affairs, at the meeting that took place at the Keidanren premises in Tokyo. 

The objective of the meeting was to explore promising trade and investment prospects within the SADC region. 

During the meeting, the participants discussed various topics related to trade and investment, including the challenges and opportunities for improving economic relations between SADC countries and Japan. They also explored ways to enhance cooperation in various sectors, such as agriculture, manufacturing, mining, and infrastructure development. 

The meeting provided an excellent platform for the SADC diplomats to showcase the region's potential for investment and trade, and to establish partnerships with Japanese businesses.
