Deputy Minister Hon. Cosato David Chumi bilateral meeting with Hon. Mr. Kokuba Konosuke, State Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT)

Deputy Minister @mfa_tanzania, Hon. Cosato David Chumi's working visit in Japan concluded on a high note, following a productive bilateral meeting with Hon. Mr. Kokuba Konosuke, State Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT).

State Minister Kokuba was accompanied by his Deputy Minister for International Projects, Mr. Ogasawara Kenichi, and other senior officials from MLIT.

The discussions between the two focused on the strong partnership between Tanzania and Japan in the field of infrastructure development.

Deputy Minister Chumi expressed gratitude towards Japan for their ongoing support and welcomed more Japanese companies to invest in Tanzania’s infrastructure and other related sectors. He also reassured his counterpart of Tanzania's readiness to host the 2nd Japan-Tanzania Infrastructure Dialogue set in October 2024, in Dar es Salaam.
