On 08 May, 2026 Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to Japan H.E Anderson Mutatembwa paid a visit to JICA Volunteers Training Center in Nihonmatsu, Fukushima Prefecture. Ambassador Mutatembwa received a brief introduction of the Nihonmatsu Training Center (NTC) from Director General of the Center Mr. Tanaka Osamu and the Director Program Division, Yoshimizu Jun.
Ambassador had the opportunity to visit NTC facility including classes and dormitory used by JICA Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) training for 73 days before despatched to different countries in the world including Tanzania. He also had time to interact with four Japanese Volunteers who are now attending training which includes Kiswahili language to be dispatched to Tanzania in the near future.
