As part of their ongoing working visit in Japan, Prof. Lugano Kusiluka, Vice Chancellor of UDOM and Prof. Abel Makubi, Executive Director of Benjamin Mkapa Hospital paid a courtesy visit to Shonan Kamakura General Hospital in Kanagawa. The two executives visited departments of Radiology and Radiotherapy, Pathology and Hemodialysis Center, and received brief explanations on the modern equipments available in the hospital, which deepened their experience in the field.
The two also engaged in the fruitful discussions with Dr. Shuzo Kobayashi, Executive Director of the hospital, who among other things, reiterated Tokushukai’s commitment to establish the Kidney Transplant Center at BMH and their readiness to comence the project as soon as possible.
Prof. Kusiluka and Prof. Makubi jointly appreciated for the commitment and enthusiasm to executing the project; and assured him for the Government’s dedication to make the project a success.
