On 3 July 2024, the Embassy, in collaboration with JICA and UNIDO @ITPO_Tokyo, co-organized a groundbreaking virtual Investment Seminar. The seminar linked over 130 Japanese investors with opportunities in Tanzania, particularly focusing on Zanzibar.
H.E. Baraka Luvanda, Ambassador of Tanzania in Japan as well as H.E. Yasushi Misawa, Ambassador of Japan in Tanzania, together with Principal Secretary of Ministry of Fisheries and Blue Economy - Zanzibar, delegates from ZIPA, JICA Tanzania, and a key business operating in Zanzibar graced the webinar, highlighting the immense investment potentials and opportunities available.
