On 12th July 2024, the Embassy had the privilege of delivering an informative lecture about Tanzania to approximately 500 high school students from the Tokyo Metropolitan Fourth Commercial High School in Tokyo.
The lecture showcased the richness of Tanzanian culture, history, and natural heritage, and was followed by an engaging question-and-answer session. This significant event also provided an opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of Tanzania and engage in lively discussions about the country.
Prior to the lecture, First Secretary of the Embassy, Ms. Edna Chuku, representing H.E. Ambassador Baraka Luvanda, met with Mr. Kazuo Hiruma, the School Principal, to discuss potential cultural exchanges and educational programs between Tanzania and the school.
