On another occasion today, 8th October 2024, His Excellency Ambassador Baraka Luvanda participated as the key speaker at the UCC talk event titled UCC Sustainable Day - The Forefront of Coffee and Sustainability.
At the event, he was cordially welcomed by Mr. Masaro Ueshima, President of UCC Co. Ltd, and engaged in dialogue with the media, coffee industry stakeholders, and consumers.
Ambassador Luvanda, among other things, discussed the current state of Tanzanian coffee and its potential for the future, as well as Tanzania's expectations for the joint project among IFAD, UCC, and Marubeni that is being implemented in Tanzania as a priority country for enhancing the coffee value chain.
