On May 6, 2025, Ambassador Baraka Luvanda attended the Exhibition on 25 Years of Fidea's Support Activities for Orphans in Tanzania and the 7th Pole Pole Concert in Nagano City. Ms. Fidea and her husband, Mr. Kobayashi, support orphans in Tanzania through an NPO called Mwangaza Foundation in Japan, channeling its support through an NGO called Songea Women and Children Care Organization (SWACCO) in Tanzania.
At the event, Ambassador Luvanda had the privilege of presenting Certificates of Appreciation to two major supporters in Nagano: St. Cousair Company and Samizu Elementary School, both of which fully participated in the two events. He also commended the efforts of the Kobayashi family in connecting Tanzanian and Japanese society through their activities in Tanzania.
During the event, Mr. Ryozo Kuze, Founder and Chairman of St. Cousair Company expressed his appreciation for the Ambassador's presence at this important occasion and for receiving the appreciation letter. He promised to continue supporting the orphans in Tanzania through Mwangaza NPO.
