The Embassy participated in the “3rd EXPAT EXPO TOKYO 2022 Festival", the exhibition specially organized for foreigners living in Japan, held on 25th and 26th November 2022 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center in Tokyo. The event is co-organized by the EXPAT EXPO TOKYO Committee, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minato city, the Japan National Tourism Organization, and Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the aim to provide international residents with information on expat-friendly businesses and services to live their best life in Japan.
Videos on Tanzania's main tourist destinations, trade, and investment opportunities, including the Tanzania-Royal Tour Documentary, were screened together with lectures about the country's economic development. Products made in Tanzania, including handcrafted items, foods, and beverages, were also on display. Many guests visited the booth, expressing interest in Tanzanian goods marketed in Japan.
