The Embassy participated in “Global Festa Japan 2022" held from 1st -2nd October 2022 at Tokyo International Forum in Tokyo. This is one of Japan's largest international cooperation events to deepen understanding and awareness of the current situation and the necessity of international cooperation. The event is co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and the Japan NGO Center for International Cooperation (JANIC) and is held every year around October 6th, which is designated as “International Cooperation Day”.
Videos on Tanzania's main tourist destinations, including the Tanzania-Royal Tour Documentary, were screened together with lectures about the country's economic development, trade, and investment opportunities. Products made in Tanzania, including handcrafted items, foods, and beverages, were on display. Many people from Japan and other countries stopped by the booth and expressed interest in Tanzania.
