On 21st January 2024, the Embassy attended a Tanzanian promotion event organized by the University and Secondary Scholarly of Saitama. The two days event, commenced on 20th January 2024, highlighted the vibrant Tanzanian culture through various moringa products, offering a unique opportunity for Japanese citizens in Saitama to experience Tanzania's cultural heritage.

The event, part of the Saitama meets Masai through Moringa (SMTM) Student Project, has been successfully running for two years since its inception in 2022, significantly contributing to the awareness and appreciation of Tanzanian Masai culture among the citizens of Saitama, particularly, the students.

During the visit, Embassy staff witnessed students actively engaging in creating a diverse range of moringa products as part of their school program, including moringa herbal tea, moringa snacks, and moringa honey. The Embassy staff also had fruitful trade interactions with the representatives of Cattle Co., Ltd., of Japan, who were the sponsors of the event. The Cattle Co., Ltd., has trade relations with the Organic Moringa Herbal Clinic located in Arusha, Tanzania.
