On 2 April 2026, the Embassy held a meeting with representatives of AMDA International Medical Information Center. The discussions focused on the organization’s work in providing free medical consultation, interpretation, and appointment support services to foreign residents in Japan, particularly those facing language barriers in accessing healthcare.
The Embassy welcomed the initiative and acknowledged its importance in supporting the welfare of Tanzanian nationals and other foreign communities living in Japan. In this regard, the Embassy agreed to disseminate information about AMDA’s services to the Tanzanian diaspora to enhance awareness and access to these important services.
The Embassy also looks forward to continued engagement with the organization in promoting the well-being of Tanzanians residing in Japan.
