On 4th March 2026, the Embassy delivered a Tanzania Seminar at Kyodo Elementary School for approximately 110 Grade 6 students. The Embassy delegation was received by Mr. Kazuhiro Aoshika, Principal of the school. Representing the Embassy were Ms. Edna Dioniz Chuku, Counsellor (Economic Affairs), and Mr. Kazuma Shirai, Senior Administrative Officer.

The seminar included a presentation on Tanzania’s geography, culture, wildlife, and economy, with a strong emphasis on the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Tanzania and Japan. The session highlighted areas of collaboration such as education, tourism and culture, infrastructure development, health, and people-to-people exchanges, among others.

Students also participated in interactive discussions and question-and-answer sessions, alongside a cultural showcase of traditional Tanzanian items and attire. The seminar aimed at deepening mutual understanding, fostering early awareness of Tanzania–Japan relations, and strengthening people-to-people ties between the two countries.
