On October 11, 2024, the Tanzania Coffee Board (TCB) delegation, led by Mr. Primus Kimaryo, Director General of TCB, visited ITOCHU Company in Tokyo and held a meeting with Mr. Shinji Ohta, General Manager, and Mr. Natsuki Okamoto, Deputy Manager of the Coffee Section. The meeting focused on the trade relations between Tanzania and Japan, specifically in the coffee industry.
ITOCHU, one of the largest Japanese trade companies, has a significant presence in the Tanzanian market, particularly in the trade of food-related products such as coffee, sesame, and spices. The discussions aimed to strengthen and expand this trade relationship for the mutual benefit of both countries.
