On 24 August 2026, the Officials of Embassy of Tanzania in Japan held a meeting with Ms. Arisa Kimura, Brand Consultant and PR Planner from Cotta Inc., at the Chancery in Tokyo.
The engagement follows Cotta Inc.’s visit to the Tanzania Pavilion at the recently concluded CAFERES exhibition, where the company developed interest in expanding its business engagement with Tanzania through its e-commerce platform.
Discussions focused on strengthening linkages between Tanzanian agricultural producers and the Japanese market, including market understanding, product validation, branding, promotion of Tanzania’s food culture and industries, and support for exports.
The Embassy welcomed the initiative as an opportunity to enhance market access for Tanzanian products and deepen Tanzania–Japan business and people-to-people connections.
