Tokyo, 19 August 2026 — H.E. Ambassador Anderson Mutatembwa today held talks with H.E. Takahashi Misako, Director General for African Affairs at Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on key issues of mutual interest and to review Tanzania–Japan bilateral relations, with emphasis on strengthening political dialogue, economic cooperation, investment, trade and development partnerships.
Both sides underscored the importance of continued high-level engagement in advancing shared priorities and further deepening the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Tanzania and Japan.
