On March 25, 2025, Ambassador Baraka Luvanda attended the handover ceremony of an ambulance at the Obu City Office in Aichi. The ambulance will improve healthcare services for the residents of Uswa Village in Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania.

The ceremony was hosted by the Mayor of Obu City and organized by the Life Support Project, a non-profit organization. The Life Support Project has been providing support in education and healthcare to Tanzanian communities, particularly Uswa Village.

This initiative is an important step in strengthening the healthcare infrastructure in Tanzania, ensuring that people in rural areas like Uswa Village can receive timely and efficient medical attention.

The donation was a collaborative effort between Obu local authorities and community stakeholders, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery in the Tanzania, particularly in Uswa Village.
