On 8 October 2024, His Excellency Ambassador Baraka Luvanda graced Tully’s Coffee Barista’s COMPETITION in Tokyo, where Tanzanian coffee, famously known as KILIMANJARO, was among the sampled coffees. Mr. Yoshio Kobayashi, the President of TULLY’S COFFEE, warmly received H.E. Ambassador Luvanda.
The event served as a commemoration of the collaborative efforts between Tanzania and Japan in the coffee industry and provided an opportunity to showcase the exceptional quality of coffee produced in Tanzania. It also underscored the significance, value, and growing popularity of Tanzanian coffee in the Japanese market.
Attendees were able to savor the exquisite coffee and gain a profound understanding and admiration for the distinct flavors of Tanzanian coffee.
