His Excellency Baraka Luvanda paid a courtesy visit to Ms. Fumio Adachi, the Head of the UNIDO ITPO Tokyo, at her office in Tokyo.
The discussions covered, among others, the Industrial Vocational Training Programme in Africa and Asia, which will involve the participation of two trainers from Tanzania. They also addressed the events and programs pertaining to Tanzania's involvement in EXPO 2025 Osaka, the TICAD 9 Summit, and the upcoming Investment Promotion Mission, which will be executed in collaboration with the Tanzania Investment Center (TIC). They further interacted on the recently appointed UNIDO ITPO Tokyo Advisor for Tanzania - based in Dar es Salaam.
The meeting proved to be highly effective in formulating a thorough roadmap for the collaborative activities planned for this year.
