On March 7, Ambassador Baraka Luvanda paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Ando Naoki, the Senior Vice President of JICA, at the JICA Headquarters in Tokyo. The discussions centered on programs and projects in Tanzania implemented by the Government of Japan through JICA.
The duo also deliberated on Tanzania’s participation in two forthcoming major events in Japan: #EXPO 2025 in Osaka and the #TICAD 9 Summit in Yokohama.
Ambassador Luvanda seized the opportunity to express his gratitude for the unwavering support and cooperation provided by the Government of Japan through JICA. He highlighted how Tanzania–Japan relations have been pivotal in advancing Tanzania's economic development goals and fostering sustainable growth across various sectors in the country.
