Ambassador Baraka Luvanda, together with other African Diplomatic Corps (ADC) in Tokyo, had a meeting with Ms. Ahunna Eziakonwa, the Assistant Secretary-General and Director of the UNDP Regional Bureau for Africa. Ms. Eziakonwa was engaged in a working mission in Japan, and the meeting with the #ADC centered on the #TICAD framework with an eye on the forthcoming TICAD 9 Summit.
Prioritizing African ownership, synchronizing with global events, promoting private-sector collaborations, and engaging youth as future leaders were among the important subjects highlighted.
