On June 6-7, 2026, the Embassy participated in the Setagaya Furusato Festival organized by Setagaya City in Tokyo, Japan. The two-day event provided the Embassy with an opportunity to showcase Tanzania's culture, traditions, and attractions to the citizens of Setagaya.
Being located in Setagaya City, the Embassy used the platform to not only strengthen the relationship between Tanzania and Japan, but also to promote culture, tourism and business opportunities in Tanzania. The festival was a great way to connect with the local community and showcase the beauty and diversity of our country.
